What To Do In A STORM

Kids must wear a bike helmut

Please note that the following information applies to transient campsites only. Seasonal site information, rules and regulations may be reviewed at the park office. All prices are subject to HST.

How many people are allowed per site?
A Transient Site includes 2 people. Please refer to rates information for additional people. A Monthly Site includes 2 people and your children under 18 years of age.
ALL persons in Silent Valley Park must be registered. Strictly enforced!
NOTE: Parents are responsible for their children. Please see paragraph below.

How many camping units are allowed per site?
Silent Valley Park allows one unit per site. A small tent is allowed, however, for children in addition to the unit.

How many vehicles are allowed per site?
One vehicle is allowed per site with the cost of a transient site. Please refer to rates information for additional vehicles.

If you are extending your stay, please be sure to register with the office by 10:00 am.
Sites are to be left neat and tidy upon departure.

Reservations:
You may reserve a site by phone at (519) 665-7787 or by Or fill out our reservation request form. Reservations will not be accepted without a credit card. Non-Refundable. There is a charge for changes.

Cancellations:
There is a fee applicable for cancellations made more than 2 days prior to reserved date. With less than 2 days notice, the cost is 1 nights camping plus the cancellation fee. Please refer to rates information.

Children:
Parents are responsible for their children, and must ensure that they are under suitable supervision at all times in Silent Valley Park. Children must be on an adult supervised site by 11pm. Kids 12 and under are required to wear bicycle helmuts when they're on bikes or golf carts. ALL playgrounds and swimming are at your own risk. In the event that children cause damage to the facilities, grounds or equipment, parents will be expected to reimburse the owners of Silent Valley Park Ltd. for the cost of repairs.

Pets:
Please keep your pets leashed, take them with you when you leave your site, and PLEASE clean up after your pet. Pets are not allowed on beach or in swimming areas. Pets may swim in POND VIEW area only.

Quiet Time: 11:00 pm until 9:00 am

Silent Valley Park Store/Office:
In July/August hours are Sunday to Thursday 9:00 am to 8:00pm and Friday/Saturday 9:00am to 9:00pm. Off Season as posted.

Showers/Laundry:
Bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities are available. No soap or pets are allowed in swimming areas at the park.

Firewood and Campfires:
Firewood is for sale at the store/office. Seasonal campers may order wood by the cord at the store/office. This is the ONLY wood allowed to be brought into the park. Any other wood will be confiscated and destroyed upon entrance to the park. Trees, shrubs, and plants must NOT be cut, damaged or removed. Campfires are permitted in stoves, grill or designated fireplace on site ONLY, attended at all times. Fire must be extinguished when leaving or when not supervised by an adult.

Garbage:
We have many garbage bins placed around the park for your convenience. Garbage must be put in plastic bags and deposited in garbage bins. Household garbage only.

Tables:
One picnic table per transient site. Tables may not be moved without authorization.

CONDUCT

Alcoholic beverages permitted ON SITE ONLY! Excessive noise, drinking, loud music or profanity will not be tolerated and cause the permit to be cancelled without refund.

It is sometimes difficult to remember noise levels when you're enjoying the novelty of camping with family and friends.Please remember that sound travels quite well in a campsite.

Excessive noise can be defined as any continuous noise, such as music,
barking dogs or even conversations that can be heard beyond your campsite.
Please remember to be considerate of those around you.
